Location Hybrid, with occasional travel to Truro, Cornwall
Commitment Maximum 8 days in year one
Treveth’s Perran Housing is seeking two exceptional Non-Executive Directors to join its Project Committee at a crucial time in our development. As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable homes across Cornwall, we are strengthening governance to ensure transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the communities we serve.
These roles offer the opportunity to shape Perran Housing’s strategic direction by supporting the executive team and providing independent oversight and constructive challenge. You will play a key role in monitoring performance, managing risk, ensuring financial integrity, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Knowledge of complaint handling and consumer regulation will be valuable in helping us meet expectations and build trust with residents and stakeholders.
Candidates should bring senior-level experience, ideally within housing, public-private partnerships, regulation or other complex environments. An understanding of the South West and the specific challenges and opportunities within the region is important. Strong skills in governance, performance management and financial oversight are essential, along with the ability to contribute to strategic discussions and work effectively within joint venture arrangements.
We are looking for individuals with sound judgment, integrity and the ability to both support and challenge the executive team. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are vital. Previous experience in a non-executive, trustee or committee role is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of effective governance and accountability. A willingness and capability to take on specific lead responsibility, for either:
Compliance with the Consumer Standards; or
Oversight and management of complaints.
These are rewarding roles for individuals who want to contribute meaningfully to the delivery of affordable homes. You will be joining a purpose-driven organisation with the ambition to create lasting social impact through high-quality housing and place-making.
Closing Date: Midnight Thursday 17th of July
